Second game of series between No. 2 Baseball and Kansas suspended due to weather

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- With thunderstorms moving into the area at 8:19 p.m. Central, the second game of the conference series between No. 2 Texas (38-10, 13-8 Big 12) and Kansas (32-21, 7-11 Big 12) on Saturday, May 7 at Hoglund Ballpark was suspended with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning and the Jayhawks leading 2-1. The two teams will now look to conclude their second game on Sunday, May 8 at 11 a.m. Central prior to the start of their series finale slated for 12 p.m. Central.
Of note, while both the resumed game and the finale will be broadcast in Austin on AM 1300 "The Zone", the series finale will also be televised by ESPNU and have a tape-delayed telecast aired on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. Central.
