COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The No. 10 University of Texas Soccer team scored two goals in six minutes to come-from-behind and defeat No. 20 Missouri, 2-1, Sunday afternoon in Columbia. Texas used goals from senior Kasey Moore and freshman Lucy Keith to 5-2-2 in Big 12 play and 12-2-3 overall. Missouri fell to 12-5-0 and 6-3-0 in the Big 12.
After a scoreless first half that saw neither team get many good looks on goal, the Tigers were able to get the board in the 56th minute when MU's Kristin Andrighetto was able to get her foot on a loose ball in the Texas box. UT keeper Dianna Pfenninger dove to try and save a shot from Alysha Bonnick, leaving the net open for Andrighetto to give MU the 1-0 advantage.
Texas tied the game up at 1-1 in the 76th minute with a goal from Moore. Niki Arlitt took a shot that deflected off the MU backline to freshman Lucy Keith. After Keith couldn't find an open look she played the ball back to Moore who struck it from 18 yards out in the upper left corner of the box for the equalizer.
The Longhorns struck again just seven minutes later in the 82nd minute. Freshman Courtney Goodson received a pass from freshman Kylie Doniak in the top right corner of the MU box. The forward's shot bounced off the crossbar down into the short box to Keith who was able to head it in for her second goal of the season.
The Texas defense endured a flurry of Tiger shots over the final three minutes to hold on for the win and give the Tigers their first loss of the season at home since their season opener against Illinois (Aug. 23). The Longhorns were outshot by Missouri 20-15 while the Tigers also held the corner kick advantage 9-7.
Texas returns home for its final conference match of the season as it hosts Baylor Friday, Oct. 31. First whistle of senior day is set for 7 p.m. Central.

POSTMATCH QUOTES
HEAD COACH Chris Petrucelli
On team's second half comeback: First of all, it was great effort. More than anything you know, especially on a Sunday, its effort. At times when we could get the ground on the ball and play, we could create chances. Those two goals came from that and we had a couple of other chances that came from that. That game was such a battle that we needed it to become a soccer game more than it was a rugby game. When it was a soccer game, we were okay.
On second half adjustments: I think one of the biggest things was the wind. We had the wind in the second half. Playing against the wind in the first half, it was just difficult to get out of our end.
On next week's regular season finale: I think we go into next week's match thinking that we are going to play for our seniors. It's a big day for them and I'm sure it's going to be really fun.
