Scheffler, Spieth and Short to represent Men's Golf in 2016 U.S. Open

Sophomore Scottie Scheffler and former Longhorns Jordan Spieth and Wes Short will play at Oakmont Country Club this weekend.
OAKMONT, Pa. – Sophomore Scottie Scheffler and Texas alums Jordan Spieth (2012) and Wes Short (1987) will represent the University of Texas at the 2016 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club this weekend.
Scheffler and Short both qualified in Columbus, Ohio on June 13.
Scheffler will be first to tee off with Andres Gonzales and Derek Fathauer at 5:45 a.m. CT, while Short will tee off with Rob Oppenheim and Dicky Pride at 6:07 a.m. Spieth will tee off at 7:35 a.m. with Zach Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau.
