No. 4 Volleyball sweeps Iowa State at home

Freshman Logan Eggleston posted the first double-double of her career with 11 kills and 10 digs.
AUSTIN, Texas - No. 4 Texas Volleyball defeated Iowa State, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-21) to improve to 10-3 on the season and 5-0 in Big 12 Conference play.
Freshman Logan Eggleston led the Longhorns with 12 kills (.216) and 10 digs for the first double-double of her career.
Junior Micaya White posted nine kills (.292) and a team-high 12 digs, while freshman Sydney Petersen also finished with double-digit digs with 10.
Senior Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani posted eight kills (.316), senior Morgan Johnson had seven (.308), and freshman Brionne Butler finished with six (.545) and a team-high two blocks.
Sophomore Ashley Shook recorded 34 assists, three digs, and three kills.
The Longhorns will hit the road twice next week to face Kansas on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. and Oklahoma on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
