Men’s Golf’s Ghim named to All-Nicklaus Team

Doug Ghim is one of 24 players from around the country honored.
AUSTIN, Texas – Longhorn Doug Ghim has been named to the 2018 All-Nicklaus Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Friday.
Ghim joins 23 players from around the country from Division I, II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA that have been recognized for their outstanding play during the 2017-18 season.
The All-Nicklaus Team was created in 2008, and is not only named for Jack Nicklaus. He helped inspire and create the Jack Nicklaus Award in 1988 and is now presented to the National Player of the year in NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as NAIA and NJCAA. Award recipients have combined for over 200 victories worldwide and claimed 23 major championships.
For Ghim, the honor joins a long list for his senior season as he was named the Ben Hogan Award winner, a PING and GolfWeek First Team All-American, All-Region, and All-Big 12.
