NCAA announces Baseball Austin Regional participants

UFCU Disch-Falk Field has been selected as an NCAA regional host site for the second-consecutive season.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball was selected as the No. 9 seed in the 2022 NCAA Baseball Championship and will host No. 2 seed Louisiana Tech, No. 3 seed Dallas Baptist, and No. 4 seed Air Force in the Austin Regional beginning Friday.
The Longhorns (42-19) are making a record 61st NCAA Tournament appearance and hosting for a record 37th time. The NCAA Austin Regional is paired with the NCAA Greenville Regional, hosted by No. 8 seed East Carolina.
Texas and Air Force will face off on Friday at 1 p.m. CT on Longhorn Network, while Louisiana Tech and Dallas Baptist are scheduled to play at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
All-session tickets will go on sale Wednesday, June 1 at 10 a.m. CT at TexasSports.com/Tickets. If available, single-session tickets will go on sale Friday, June 3 at 9 a.m. CT.
