Baseball to play in NCAA Coral Gables Regional

The Longhorns enter the tournament as a No. 2 seed and will play Louisiana in Coral Gables, Fla.
AUSTIN, Texas – The NCAA announced the full field of 64 teams for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championships on Monday morning, with Texas Baseball earning a No. 2 seed in the Coral Gables Regional. This marks the 62nd time the Longhorns have reached the NCAA Tournament.
The Longhorns (38-20) are joined by their Friday opponent No. 3 seed Louisiana, No. 4 seed Maine and top-seeded host Miami.
Texas will open the Coral Gables Regional on Friday at 1 p.m. CT against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at Alex Rodriguez Park, with the game broadcast on Longhorn Network.
Miami is the No. 9 overall seed and the Coral Gables Regional is paired with the Palo Alto Regional, hosted by No. 8 overall seed Stanford.
