Men’s Tennis preview: Big 12/SEC Challenge

Four Longhorns head to Waco to complete in singles and doubles from October 4-6.
Waco, Texas – Four players from Texas Men's Tennis will compete in singles and doubles competition in the Big 12-SEC Challenge at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco from Friday through Sunday, Oct. 4-6.
The tournament will feature individual play with members of schools of the SEC, including Texas, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Texas A&M playing those of the Big 12, including Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
For Texas, senior Pierre-Yves Bailly, sophomore Lucas Brown and freshmen Timo Legout and Evan Burnett will compete, starting with doubles on Friday at noon against players from Texas Tech. They will then face players from Arizona in singles start at 1 p.m. CT.
On the following days, the Longhorns will take on players from Arizona State in doubles, and Oklahoma State in singles on Saturday, followed by OSU in doubles and Baylor in singles on Sunday.
Due to scoreboard renovations at the Hurd Tennis Center, live stats may not be available, however results will be entered into the draw on the ITA Tournament Hub.
