Three from Women’s Golf earn All-SEC honors

O’Keefe earns First Team All-SEC, Kim and Hsu named to Second Team All-SEC.
AUSTIN, Texas — Texas women's golf's Farah O'Keefe earned First Team All-SEC honors and Lauren Kim and Cindy Hsu were named Second Team All-SEC as the conference announced the awards today that were voted on by the head coaches. Tiffany Cao was named to the SEC Community Service Team.
O'Keefe, who was recently named to the postseason ANNIKA Award watch list, finished runner-up at the SEC Championship with a score of 5-under-par. O'Keefe has seven top-10 finishes on the season and five top-five finishes. In addition to her collegiate team events, O'Keefe finished 10th place at the Augusta National Women's Amateur. O'Keefe has a stroke average of 70.22 and has had her round counted for the Longhorns in 29 of her 30 rounds. She has 17 rounds on the season at par or better. O'Keefe is currently ranked No. 15 on the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
Kim, who was also named to the postseason ANNIKA Award watch list, finished T5 at the SEC Championship and has finished in the top-six in five straight tournaments. Kim has eight top-10 finishes on the season and six top-five finishes. Kim earned medalist honors at the Betsy Rawls Invitational this season. Kim has a stroke average of 69.60 this season with 10 rounds in the 60s and 20 rounds at par or better. Kim is currently ranked No. 19 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
Cindy Hsu finished T2 at the Betsy Rawls Invitational and T6 at the Nanea Invitational this season. Hsu was T11 at the Folds of Honor Collegiate. Hsu has been consistent for the Longhorns this season as she has had her round counted in 22 of her 27 rounds this season and has 11 rounds at par or better this season.
Cao is the women's golf representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Texas. Cao was recognized earlier this season as a Hook 'Em Community Hero by the Texas athletic department. At home she is active in her community and has participated in meals on wheels and blood drives. Last May she was part of a life changing experience with a UT group of student-athletes who participated in the courts for kids program and built a court for kids in Costa Rica.
