O'Keefe, Kim named to ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List: The Haskins Foundation announced the ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List presented by Stifel. Texas women's golfers Farah O'Keefe and Lauren Kim landed on the 25-player watch list. Both O'Keefe and Kim made the final 15 list near the end of the 24-25 season and are preseason All-Americans. O'Keefe is currently ranked No. 8 on the World Amateur Golf Ranking list and Kim comes in at No. 17.
4 Longhorns earn preseason All-America honors from Golf Channel: Four Texas women's golfers were named to the Golf Channel preseason All-America list. Farah O'Keefe on First Team, Lauren Kim and Cindy Hsu on Second Team and Vivian Lu on third team. In the team preseason rankings, the Longhorns were selected No. 2.
5 Longhorns selected for World Amateur Team Championships: The Longhorns have the most players on any women's collegiate team that have been selected to represent their native countries in the World Amateur Team Championships Oct. 1-4 in Singapore. Farah O'Keefe (USA), Lauren Kim (Canada), Cindy Hsu and Selina Liao (Taiwan) and Vivian Lu (New Zealand) will compete in the event.
2024-25 Season Recap: The Longhorns won three tournament and advanced to match play at the NCAA Championship. Texas advanced to the NCAA Championship for the ninth straight season and 33rd time in program history. Lauren Kim was the Longhorns top finisher in stroke play at the NCAA Championship with a T14 finish. Farah O'Keefe earned runner-up honors at the SEC Championship.
