Men’s Tennis preview: ITA Texas Regional Championships

Six Longhorns will participate in the tournament from Oct. 8-12 in Fort Worth.
Fort Worth, Texas – Seven members of Texas Men's Tennis are set for competition in the singles and doubles draws of the ITA Texas Regional Championships being held at the Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth from Thursday through Monday.
Sophomore Jeremiah Braswell will begin singles qualifying play on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. CT against Paxton Oshea of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Then on Friday, freshman Tomasz Berkieta, sophomores Mariano Dedura-Palomero, Abel Forger, and Lucas Marionneau, and junior Oliver Ojakaar will take the court in the singles main draw.
Meanwhile in doubles, Berkieta will pair with Marionneau, and Forger will partner with Dedura-Palomero.
Two singles players and one doubles pair will qualify for the NCAA Championships at the ITA Texas Regional Championships.
