Scottie Scheffler wins TOUR Championship and FedExCup crown

ATLANTA, Ga. — Former University of Texas star Scottie Scheffler carded a 4-under-par 66 on Sunday afternoon to register a three-stroke victory at the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club. With the win, he recorded his second FedExCup title in the last three years after previously earning the crown in 2024.

Scheffler posted his third win of the 2026 season, including his second in the last 14 days, and his 22nd career PGA TOUR victory. He joins Tiger Woods (2007 and 2009) and Rory McIlroy (2016, 2019 and 2022) as the only players to record multiple FedExCup titles.

Scheffler also moved into the top spot on the PGA TOUR's career earnings list. With his $10 million payday from the TOUR Championship, Scheffler has now recorded $130,390,661 in career earnings, topping Tiger Woods' mark of $120,999,166. Woods had held the top spot on the chart for more than a quarter of a century, dating back to Feb. 13, 2000.

Scheffler registered a four-round score of 16-under 264 (65-67-66-66) to finish three strokes ahead of runner-up Viktor Hovland at 13-under 267 (64-66-65-72). Scheffler, who began the day in a tie for third at 12-under and three strokes behind Hovland (15-under), carded a total of six birdies on holes 2, 4, 8, 10, 13 and 16 against a pair of bogeys to record his 4-under 66.

Scheffler's win on Sunday marked the 115th official PGA TOUR victory accomplished by 17 different individuals in the 100-year history of the Texas Men's Golf program.
