• finished his junior career ranked No. 1 in the AJGA Polo Golf Rankings after totaling three years of Rolex Junior All-America honors
• three-time UIL Class 4A state individual champion (2012-14)
• No. 1 junior player in Golfweek’s Class of 2014 when he signed his National Letter of Intent
• participated in the FedEx St. Jude Classic (MC) and the HP Byron Nelson Championship (T-22) on the PGA TOUR in 2014 on sponsorship exemptions
• finished with a share of third at the 2014 Northeast Amateur Invitational at Wannamoisett CC in Rhode Island
• qualified for match play at the 2014 Western Amateur along with Texas teammate Beau Hossler and Doug Ghim. Scheffler was defeated in the quarterfinals.
• qualified for the 2014 U.S. Amateur match play where he was defeated in the round of 64
• finished fourth at the 2014 Terra Cotta Invitational at Naples National Golf Club in Florida
• 2013 AJGA Rolex Junior Player of the Year
• won the 2013 U.S. Junior Amateur at Martis Camp Club before becoming only the second reigning U.S. Junior winner since 1986 to reach the quarterfinals of the Amateur at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass.
• finished within the top 10 in all starts in AJGA events during the 2013 season, including two runner-up finishes
• in 2012, he set or tied course records at two different courses in the Dallas area after breaking Northwood Club’s course record previously set by Hunter Mahan with a 10-under 61 and tying Dallas Country Club’s record of 9-under 61 just days later
• posted four top-10 AGJA finishes in seven starts during the 2012 season, including a runner-up finish at the Polo Golf Junior Classic
