James Snikeris is in his second season as video coordinator on the baseball staff after graduating from Texas in 2016 with high honors in sport management.
Snikeris, who also worked two seasons as an undergraduate student on the staff, is tasked with creating scouting reports, providing advanced scouting data, managing several video components including edgertronics, and assisting with day-to-day camp operations.
Snikeris supervises the student baseball development team. The role of the student baseball development team is to assist in opponent video scouting and advanced research/development using SQL, R, and Tableau.
In addition to providing the coaching staff with scouting video, Snikeris oversees BATS and Trackman operations during scrimmages and games. Snikeris analyzes data for player development including, but not limited to: Trackman data and Rapsodo bullpen data.
An Austin native, Snikeris attended St. Michael’s Catholic High School before attending UT.
