AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)
Named to the Academic All-Big 12 second team...made three appearances, including one start...compiled a 2.08 ERA in 4.1 innings pitched...held opponents to a .133 batting average against...first appearance on the mound of the season was against Lamar on Feb. 19 where he had three strikeouts over 3 hitless innings.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
Made six pitching appearances with two starts as a freshman in 2019...finished the year with a 4.97 ERA and 10 strikeouts to only three walks over 12.2 innings...got the start on the mound against Texas A&M on April 2…pitched five scoreless innings of relief against Arkansas on March 19…made first career start against UTSA on Feb. 27 and pitched three scoreless innings…first career appearance was at Louisiana on Feb. 16.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in each of his seasons at St. Thomas High School under head coach Ryan Lousteau…earned TAPPS first team All-State honors in 2016, 2017, and 2018…named to the TAPPS state all-tournament team as a junior…named the Texas Prep Baseball Houston Private School MVP as a junior…earned Perfect Game Underclass All-American second-team honors last season and high honorable mention honors as a sophomore.
