Advanced to the NCAA West Prelims where he finished 23rd in the pole vault with a clearance of 16-08.75 (5.10m) ... tied for second in the pole vault at the Big 12 Championships with a personal-best mark of 17-5 (5.31m) to earn all-league honors ... that vault is tied for 10th on the UT all-time performers list ... claimed a second-place finish at the Texas Invitational with a vault of 17-0.75 (5.20m) ... placed sixth at the Texas Relays in the pole vault (16-07.50/5.07m).
Indoor:
Earned all-league honors by finishing seventh in the pole vault with a clearance of 15-11 (4.85m) at the Big 12 Championships ... posted a season-best clearance of 5.10m (16-08.75) at the Don Kirby Invite ... finished 13th at the Razorback Invitational after clearing 16-04.75 (5.00m).

Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the pole vault ... cleared a then personal-best height of 17-2.75 (5.25m) for a ninth-place finish at the NCAA West Preliminary meet ... finished sixth at the Big 12 Championships after clearing 16-8.25 (5.09m), claiming his second career all-league honor ... posted a clearance of 16-9.50 (5.12m) to finish second at the Texas Invite ... took second at the Arkansas Dual Meet after clearing 16-7.5 (5.07m) ... cleared a height of 16-11 (5.16m) at the Texas Relays to finish 11th ... finished second in the pole vault at the Hurricane Invitational with a clearance of 16-6.75 (5.05m) ... also posted a personal-best 11.54 in the 100m at that meet.
