Earned three all-league honors ... finished second in the 800 meters (1:52.59), helped the distance medley relay finish second (9:42.61) and the 4x400 relay claim seventh (3:18.30) at the Big 12 Championships ... posted a 400m personal-best time of 49.10 to finish 31st at the Tyson Invitational ... clocked a 1:53.87 in the 800m at the Razorback Team Invitational ... also ran the opening leg of the distance medley relay at that meet ... that unit (also Patrick McGregor, Zack Bilderback and Kyle Thompson) posted a time of 9:31.82, the fourth-best mark in school history and one which led the nation until the final weekend of the regular season ... won the 800m at the Arkansas Dual Meet with a time of 1:52.71.
Cross Country (Sophomore):
Competed in two meets ... finished 14th in the UTSA Dual meet and sixth at the Concordia Invitational.

Outdoor (Freshman):
Ran a 1:52.95 in the 800m at the NCAA West Prelims in the qualifying round to place 23rd ... earned all-league accolades with a fifth-place showing in the 800m (1:48.14) at the Big 12 Championships ... also claimed All-Big 12 honors as the third leg of the 4x400m relay unit that placed sixth (3:10.57) ... claimed fourth in the 400m at the Longhorn Invitational with a time of 48.70 ... posted a second-place finish in the 800m (1:51.88) at the Texas Invitational ... won the 800m with a time of 1:50.11 at the UCLA Dual meet.
Indoor (Freshman):
Earned second team All-America honors by finishing 11th in the prelims (1:49.28) of the 800 meters at the NCAA Championships ... one of just two freshmen to qualify in the event ... earned a pair of all-league honors ... placed fifth in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 1:48.53 at the Big 12 Championships ... that time placed him No. 8 on the UT all-time performers list ... also ran the second leg of the 4x400m relay unit which placed sixth in 3:13.83 ... placed fourth in the 800m run at the SPIRE Invitational with a time of 1:49.27 ... finished 800m in 1:50.57 for eighth at the Razorback Invitational ... claimed third in the 800m run at the Arkansas Dual with a time of 1:50.55 ... crossed the 800m finish line in 1:50.10 at the Notre Dame Last Chance Meet.
Cross Country (Freshman):
Finished the Concordia Invitational fourth for UT and 15th overall, crossing the finish line in 15:54.83.
HIGH SCHOOL
Helped lead team to two consecutive state championships in 2008 and 2009 ... notched three State Championships in the 800 meters, two of which were in Texas, one in Kansas ... member of the team that placed third in the 4x800 meters at the Kansas State Championships ... posted prep personal bests at the Texas Regionals in the 400 meters with a 48.03, Texas State meet in the 800 meters with a 1:50, and Texas Relays in the 1600 meters with a 4:20 ... four-year letterman in track at Harker Heights ... named captain of the track team as a senior.
