OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Raced four times … made his UT debut with a sixth-place finish at the Bear Twilight … placed 27th in the Big 12 Championships, his final appearance of the season.
PRIOR TO TEXAS: Competed at Wake Forest for two seasons … took part in four 2018 races for the Demon Deacons … made his collegiate debut at the Paul Short Run in 2017 … broke the Arkansas High School Invitational record in the mile with a 4:12 mark during his senior season … finished 22nd at the Footlocker National Championships in 2016 … took fourth at the Texas 6A State Cross Country meet as a sophomore … also took fourth in the 1600m at the state track and field meet … lettered four times in track and three times in cross country.
PERSONAL: Son of Jose Viegra and Norman Martinez-Viegra … has one brother, Jose, and one sister, Miranda.
