AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2023)
Made an immediate impact as a transfer during the 2023 season…started all 64 games, including making 61 starts in left field and three as designated hitter…batted .323 with 14 doubles, one triple and 12 home runs…drove in the second-most runs on the team with 59 and scored 46 runs…finished second on the team with 11 stolen bases…also had a team-high 40 walks…had 20 multiple-hit games and was second on the team with 14 multiple-RBI games…
also had five outfield assists…tied the program record with three home runs in the win over West Virginia (5/18)…went 4-for-5 with eight RBI and became just the seventh Longhorn to hit three homers in a game…went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored in the Super Regional Game 1 win at Stanford…named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week (3/27) after the Big 12 opening sweep of Texas Tech…went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI in win at Texas A&M (3/28)…hit an eighth-inning game-winning homer vs. Indiana (2/24)…first hit as a Longhorn was a solo homer on Opening Day versus Arkansas (2/17).
PRIOR TO TEXAS (TCU)
Played in parts of four seasons at TCU from 2019-22 with 112 games played, a .286 batting average, 20 doubles, nine home runs, 63 RBI and 83 runs scored…as a redshirt sophomore in 2022, played in 43 games and batted .276 with five doubles, five homers, 23 RBI and 24 runs scored…had his best season for the Horned Frogs in 2021, playing in 40 games with a .342 batting average, nine doubles, three homers, 23 RBI, 28 runs scored and eight stolen bases…in 2020, started 12 games in left field as part of 13 appearances before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic…as a true freshman in 2019, played in 16 games before suffering a season-ending injury…registered a hit in 10 of 16 games and reached safely in 14, batting .279 with three doubles and seven stolen bases.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned three letters at Ronald Reagan High School...helped lead his team to state runner-up finishes in 2017 and 2018...was a member of the state all-tournament team as a junior and senior...owns the school record for stolen bases in a single season and for a career...hit .409 as a senior and .367 as a junior...was named a first-team all-district as a junior...selected to play on the National Team in the Future Star Series…was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the 2017 WWBA 17U National Championship.
