AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
Served as a key piece of the bullpen in 2023, pitching in 26 games (the second-most on the team)…posted a 2-2 record with one save and a 3.09 ERA…struck out 30 batters in 32.0 innings pitched with a team-best .195 batting average against…missed the postseason with an injury…pitched two innings and allowed one run against West Virginia (5/20)…logged two scoreless innings against UT Arlington (5/9)…picked up the save with 0.2 scoreless against TCU (4/30)…got the win with 0.2 scoreless innings pitched against Baylor (4/16)…in the Oklahoma State series, had two scoreless outings with 2.1 total innings pitched…picked up the win against New Orleans (3/19) with three scoreless and hitless innings pitched…made his Texas debut with a scoreless inning and two strikeouts against Missouri (2/18).
PRIOR TO TEXAS (RICE 2022)
Opened the year as one of the busiest members of the bullpen before moving to the starting rotation in the last month of the season…led the team with 18 appearances to open the season and was 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA out of the bullpen…credited with his first win in relief at Sam Houston on 4/12...made his collegiate starting debut on 4/30 vs. WKU and worked the first five innings to pick up the win…made his starting debut in a series-opener at Charlotte on 5/6…made his collegiate debut at Texas on 2/20, getting a strikeout with the bases loaded and two out.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Houston Kinkaid School where he played for coach Steve Maas and was part of a Southwest Preparatory Conference champion squad as a sophomore in 2019, the fifth title for the Falcons.
