Why Texas?
“Texas has an amazing group of inspirational girls that all seem to push each other to be their best. Coming from a small team, I am excited to be part of a bigger and more competitive, but supportive environment.”
What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
“I was inspired by the GB rowing teams performance at the London 2012 Olympics. Rowing is an extremely satisfying sport to watch and perform. What I love most is the process of making a boat go fast, and how we learn how to work together to make every action synchronized. The teammates that I have gained through this sport are also family, and that is the most valuable thing.”
