Before Texas
Swam and played water polo at Stratford High School … earned first-team All-District in swimming and water polo in 2021-22 … as a swimmer, she was a 2022 6A Regional finalist … was a two-time finalist at the Arena Fall Classic (2020-22) and TISCA (2020-22) … a two-time 6A District top-scorer (2020-22) for Spartan water polo … tabbed second-team All-Region 6A in 2022 … was a 2022 Academic All-American in swim and water polo.

What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
“I participated in the fall 2022 walk on tryout process and was drawn to the culture of hard work that Texas Rowing promotes. As a previous varsity swimmer and water polo player, I felt at home in the environment of positive encouragement, physical resilience and pursuit of excellence.

- Has a younger brother, Abigail
- Father played lacrosse at Princeton, winning the national championship in 1992
- Mother competed in track & field (heptathlon) at Princeton
- Grandfather, Tom Binning, competed in track & field at Wyoming, and great grandfather, Charles Binning, competed in track & field at Iowa State
- Began rowing at the age of 18
- Majoring in advanced nutritional science
- Enjoys yoga and trying new places to eat, get coffee, hike and travel
