Outdoor (Freshman):
· Placed eighth (55.93) in 400m at 2010 US Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
· Garnered All-Big 12 honors in the 200m, taking fifth with a time of 54.51 at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.
· All-Big 12 in high jump, posting a second-place finish with a mark of 5-7 (1.70m).
· Finished with a season best in the 100m 12.01 in the 100m at Texas Relays.
· Clocked a personal-best 24.19 in the 200m at the Michael Johnson Invite, placing fourth.
· Recorded a career-best 53.60 at NCAA Outdoor Regional, good for 19th place.
Indoor (Freshman):
· Set a personal-best in the 60m, 200m and 400m at the Big 12/SEC/C-USA Challenge with times of 7.88, 24.49 and 55.02 respectively.
· Finished in seventh place in the 400m at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a time of 55.04, earning All-Big 12 honors.
PRIOR TO TEXAS
· Four-year letterwinner in track and field and basketball at Sherman High School.
· Earned Track All-America honors all four years at Sherman competing in the 100m, 200m, 400m and high jump under head coach Donald Butler.
· Captained the track and field squad from sophomore-senior years ... captained the basketball squad from junior to senior years.
· Personal-bests are 54.22 (400m), 24.07 (200m), 11.62 (100m) and 5-10 (high jump).
· Basketball team MVP in both junior and senior seasons ... also named All-Region and All-District from 2007-09.
PERSONAL
Born Alicia Marie Peterson to Bruce and Valerie Peterson on August 13, 1991 ... has one older sister Kannea ... looks up to Texas Ex Sanya Richards and first started running at age seven ... was also recruited by Oklahoma, TCU and Texas Tech.
