Competed in two meets … ran a 4:56.63 in the 1,500 at the Texas Relays … recorded a 1,500m season-best of 4:37.86 to start her collegiate career at the Aztec Invitational.

PRIOR TO TEXAS
Four-year letterwinner and two-year captain in track & field and cross country at McKinney under coach Clay Davis ... also lettered in tennis for one year ... competed in the 800m, 1,600m and 3,200m in track, posting personal best times of 2:12.61, 4:54.75 and 10:55.26, respectively ... all-state in the 1,600m her freshman and sophomore years ... placed second in the 1,600m at UIL state meet as a junior and senior ... also placed third in both the 3,200m as a junior and 800m as a senior ... placed sixth at Nike South Nationals cross country meet and was also sixth in state for UIL 4A as a junior ... awarded the McKinney Independent School District Athletic Achievement Award for cross country and track all four years.
