• Finished 13th in discus at NCAA Championships to receive his first USTFCCCA All-America honor of his career.
• Placed 2nd in the discus with a throw of 54.53m/178-11 at the UTSA Challenge Invitational
• Won the discus at the Michael Johnson Classic with a mark of 55.21m/181-2
• Placed 3rd in the discus at the Longhorn Invitational with a throw of 56.65m/185-10
• Threw personal best 58.38m (191-6) to finish 7th in special invitational discus at Penn Relays.

• Finished 10th in weight throw (53-0.75) and 11th in shot put (51-11.00) at Big 12 Championships
• Took third place at Arkansas Dual in weight thorw
• Posted season-high 57-7.50 in weight throw at New Mexico Collegiate Invitational
• Finished 12th in weight thorw and 22nd in shot put at Tyson Invitational
2012-13
Outdoor:
• Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the discus, finishing 23rd with a toss of 173-5 (52.87m)
• Qualified for the national meet with placing sixth in the event (187-5/57.12m) at the NCAA West Preliminary Round
• Tossed a career-best 188-4 (57.40m) at the league meet to become the third Big 12 discus champion in school history (also Brian Robison, 2006; Derek Randall, 2007)
• That mark ranked No. 25 on the season’s national performers list (seeded him 15th for the NCAA West Regionals)
• Also posted a personal-best hammer throw of 173-11 (53.00m) for seventh-place and all-league honors
• Placed third in the hammer (171-9/52.36m) and fourth in the discus (180-7/55.05m) at the Longhorn Invitational
•Tossed the discus 177-4 (54.06m) to finish fourth and hammer 169-7 (51.69m) to finish fifth at the Texas Invitational
• Came in fifth in the discus (178-1/54.29m) and eighth in the hammer (172-2/52.49m) at the Jim Click Shootout
• Threw the shot put 47-4.25 (14.43m), discus 180-8 (55.06m), and hammer 171-5 (52.24) at the Texas Relays
• Opened the season by finishing fifth in the hammer (166-9/50.84m) and sixth in the discus (172-10/52.68m)
Indoor:
• Earned all-league accolades with a personal best weight throw of 62-0.25 (19.80m) which placed him second at the Big 12 Championships
• That toss moved him to second on the UT all-time performers list
• Posted two of the top eight marks in school history during the season
• Also threw the shot put a personal-best 53-0 (16.15m) at the conference meet which placed him 11th
• Posted a toss of 58-8 (17.88m) in the weight throw at the Tyson Invitational
• Finished third (58-3/17.75m) in the weight throw and 17th (50-8.75/15.46m) in the shot put at the Razorback Team Invitational
• Won the weight throw competition at the Arkansas Dual Meet with a mark of 60-7.75 (18.48m) that mark ranks No. 8 on the UT all-time performance list
2011-12 (at SFA)
Outdoor:
• Advanced to the NCAA West Regionals in the discus, finishing 25th with a toss of 170-6 (51.97m)
• Won the Southland Conference discus title with a throw of 183-1
• Also recorded an eighth-place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 167-5 at the conference championships
• Earned all-conference honors in both of those events
• Had a personal-best toss of 169-04 in the hammer throw at the Bracket Buster Invitational
• Also had a career-best shot put of 53-01.00 at that meet
Indoor:
• Earned runner-up honors in the weight throw (60-6.50) at the conference meet
• Secured all-league honors for that effort
• Posted a season-best mark of 60-10 in the weight throw at the JD Martin/Oklahoma Invitational
2010-11 (at SFA)
Outdoor:
• Advanced to the NCAA West Regionals in the discus, finishing 35th with a toss of 160-4 (48.87m)
• Set the school record in the discus by winning the `B’ section in the Texas Relay with a throw of 184-8s
• Won the SLC individual discus title with his throw of 180-0
Indoor:
• Finished 10th in the shot put at the Southland Conference Championships with a throw of 48-1.75
• Posted a season-best toss of 49-9.75 in the shot put at the Sooner Invitational
PRIOR TO TEXAS (HIGH SCHOOL)
• Finished fourth in both the shot put and discus at the 2010 Region I-5A Championships
• Won the discus at the 2010 Glen Rose Regional Qualifying meet with a personal-best toss of 189- 4
• Won the District 3-5A discus title with a toss of 187-7 as a senior
• Was second in the shot put that that meet
• Second in the discus and third in the shot put as a junior at the 2009 district meet
• Also qualified for the regional meet that season lettered all four years in both track and field and football
• A second team all-district performer in football as a senior
• Played offensive line and defensive end
