OUTDOOR: Finished 4th in the 400-meter with a PB time of 46.44 at the Texas Invite... Ran the 200m in 20.88 to finished 24th in the prelims, ran the second leg of the 4x100 (38.81) that finished fourth and the anchor leg of the 4x400 (3:04.42) that was fifth at the SEC Championships... Helped Texas qualify for the NCAA Championship meet in both the 4x100 and the 4x400 and broke the 4x100 program record... Helped Texas finish eighth in the 4x100 with a time of 39.10 and 12th in the 4x400 with a time of 3:04.15.
INDOOR: Ran a personal best in the 300m (33.33) at the Louisville Opener and was on the winning 4x400 (3:09.85)... Was on the winning 4x400 relay (3:08.45) and was third in the 300m with a time of 33.34 at the Arkansas Invitational... Part of the winning 4x400 relay (3:08.13) and finished seventh in the 200-meter (21.04) at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invite... Reached the semis in the 60-meter and ran 6.86 and ran the 200m in 20.86 to finish seventh at the NM Collegiate Classic... Ran the 60-meter in 6.89, the 200-meter in 20.89 and second leg of the 4x400 relay that posted the 16th fastest time in UT history (3:06.75) at the Tiger Paw Invite... Competed in the 200-meter (20.92) prelims at the SEC Championships...
2023-24 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Ran the anchor leg of the winning 4x100 relay at the Texas Relays that finished with a time of 39.22 and helped UT win the SMR with a time of 3:15.03... Ran the 400m in 47.45 at the Mt. SAC Relays... Ran the short sprints at the Texas Invitational, finishing the 100-meter in 10.28w and the 200-meter in 20.68w... Posted two third-place finishes at the Big 12 Championships in the 4x100 (38.90 and the 4x400 (3:05.08) and was 11th in the 200m... Ran a personal best in the 200m at the NCAA West Prelims (20.28) and helped UT advance to the NCAA in the 4x100... Finished sixth in the 4x400 (3:01.41), fifth in the 4x100 (38.99) and was 15th in the 200m (20.50) at the NCAA Championships...
INDOOR: Opened the season winning the 300-meter at the Commonwealth College Opener with a time of 33.41... Ran the 200m (20.97) and the 400m (47.26) at the NM Collegiate Classic... Ran a PB in the 60m (6.84), the 200 (21.01) and was on the UT record setting 4x400 relay (3:03.93) at the Eagle Elite Invite... Ran a PB in the 60m prelims (6.75) and finished seventh in the 200-meter with his time of 20.94 at the Big 12 Championships...
2022-23 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Made his collegiate debut at the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in the 4x400 relay that finished seventh with a time of 3:03.27... Ran the 200m in 21.25w, ran a PB in the 400m with his time of 46.57 and ran on the 4x400 team at the Tom Jones Memorial... Ran a PB in the 200m with his time of 20.75 at the Texas Invitational and was the first leg of the 4x100 that finished with a time of 39.23... Finished fourth in the Big 12 Championships in the 200m with a time of 20.65, but set a PB in the prelims at 20.52 and also helped the 4x100 relay finish second with a time of 38.89...
Prior to Texas: Was a two-time Texas 200m State Finalist... Was the Texas A&M Indoor Invitational Meet Champion... Holds three high school records at Highland Park... Son to John and Susan Rutledge and brother to Madeline Rutledge.
