OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. -- Texas sophomore Bobby Hudson fired a one-over 71 as Texas moved up one spot to fourth place on day two of the 15-team Olympia Fields Invitational.
The Longhorns fired an 11-over 291 in the second round to end the day nine strokes behind 36-hole leader Oklahoma State. Penn State's Kevin Foley leads individually at two-under for the tournament.
Hudson (Memphis, Tenn.) birdied holes one, nine, 15 and 16 en route to his 71 in round two. Hudson is tied for 15th place at four-over par with 18 holes remaining. Sophomore Donald Constable (Wayzata, Minn.) shot a two-over 70 in the second round and is tied for seventh place heading into Sunday's final round.
Junior All-American Charlie Holland (Dallas, Texas) carded a seven-over 77 in round two and heads into the final round tied for 35th place at eight-over par. Freshman Dylan Frittelli (Pretoria, South Africa) shaved one stroke off of his opening round and fired a five-over 75 to end the day tied for 47th place at 11-over par.
Junior Lance Lopez shaved six strokes off of his opening round with a three-over 73 and ended the day tied for 54th place at 12-over par.
Texas tees off in the final round on Sunday at 8 a.m. Central.
