Final Results
AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas shot a 17-over 301 to finish in fourth place at 44-over par Tuesday at the 43rd annual Morris Williams Intercollegiate at the par 71, 7,412-yard University of Texas Golf Club.
Oklahoma State claimed the 54-hole event with rounds of 285, 284 and 294 to finish at 11-over par for the tournament. Arkansas took second at 36-over par, and USC placed third at 39-over par. Oklahoma State's Morgan Hoffmann and USC's Tom Glissmeyer finished as co-medalists by finishing at one-under par for the tournament.
Texas freshman Dylan Frittelli opened with a 35 on the front nine behind birdies at the fifth and ninth holes, but a 43 on the back nine pushed the talented freshman to a seven-over 78 on the day. Frittelli tied for ninth overall at nine-over par to lead the Horns and land his third top-10 finish of the season.
Junior Lance Lopez opened with a 37 on the front nine and finished with a 38 on the back to end round three with a four-over 75. Lopez tied for 17th place at 10-over par. Sophomore Donald Constable registered UT's lowest round of the day with a two-over 73. Constable birdied his seventh and ninth holes on his way to a 36 on the front nine before adding a birdie at the 11th hole to finish with a 37 on the back nine. Constable tied for 19th place overall at 11-over par.
Sophomore Bobby Hudson rebounded from his nine-over 80 in Monday's second round to shoot a four-over 75 in Tuesday's final round. Hudson birdied the ninth hole and made the turn with a 37 and finished with a 38 on the back nine. Hudson tied for 37th overall at 17-over par. Junior Charlie Holland, who shot rounds of 79 and 77 on Monday, withdrew during Tuesday's final round due to an illness.
Freshman Adam Wennerstrom led the five Longhorns playing as individuals in the tournament by tying for 29th place at 15-over par.
Texas resumes play on Friday, April 17 at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif.

This is the second time we've been able to play the Morris Williams at The UT Golf Club, and it brings with it a lot of different emotions. We finished fourth, and while that wasn't what we wanted, we felt that the guys did a good job with their top-five finish. We know we need to get better, and we need to get better. But, these kinds of things do help, and we'll use it in a positive way and get better.
