POST-ROUND COMMENTS
Texas head coach John Fields
"We shot a (5-over) 293 today, and I don't think that is terrible golf. This is just a great field here at the NCAA Championships. Cody Gribble played extremely well with his 69 today. Our future is bright. I don't want to get too down about this tournament. We won the (NCAA East) regional and had a good year. We only finished outside of the top-five twice during the season, and we won a couple of tournaments. It's disappointing for our guys and disappointing for our seniors to not make it to match play. You have to play great golf, and we did not do that this week. We had our moments but we never put it together as a team."
