A LOOK AT THE LONGHORNS
• The trip to Oklahoma State ends a difficult road stretch for Texas, as seven of eight games are being played away from UFCU Disch-Falk Field, with six of them coming against Top 15 RPI teams in Nebraska (#15) and OSU (#11).
• In the coming weeks, UT will hold a five game home stand before heading back out on the road for consecutive conference series at Kansas (4/17-19 )and at #6 RPI TCU (4/24-26).
• Texas had won 9 of its last 11 games before being swept by Nebraska this past weekend. The Cornhuskers held UT to three runs in the three-game series.
• For the year, the Texas bullpen holds a 1.81 ERA, and had a 22 2/3 inning streak of not allowing an earned run end on Tuesday (3/31) vs. A&M-Corpus Christi in the sixth inning.
• Junior left fielder Ben Johnson leads the Big 12 in hits (47), multi-hit games (16), triples (6), slugging percentage (.605) and total bases (75), while Sr. right fielder Collin Shaw leads the league in doubles (14) and is tied for second in RBIs (25) (Chart on p. 3).

• UT has 86 extra base hits (55 2B, 12 3B, 19 HR) through 29 games. At this point of 2014, Texas had 55 extra base knocks (37 2B, 11 3B, 7 HR). (Chart on p. 3).

• The Horns are third in the Big 12 in walks, and four Longhorns rank in the top 10 in the conference in walks (Cantu, Barrera, Gurwitz, Boswell). Texas has 124 bases on balls in its first 28 contests.
