Three from Men’s Golf named Golfweek All-Americans

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Men's Golf landed three players on the Division I Golfweek All-America teams, Golfweek announced this week.
Scottie Scheffler and Doug Ghim were named to the first team, while Gavin Hall earned honorable mention accolades.
Scheffler led the Longhorns with a 71.00 stroke average in 37 rounds, where he finished in the top-8 seven times, including a win at the East Lake Cup and a tie for third to close the season at the NCAA Championship. He shot eight rounds in the 60s and fired 24 of his 37 rounds at or under par.
Ghim finished the season with a 71.10 stroke average in 40 rounds with seven top-10 outings, including a win at the UT Longhorn Shootout and runner-up honors at the Big 12 Championship and NCAA Regional. He shot nine rounds in the 60s and finished with 24 of his 40 rounds at or under par.
Hall finished with a 71.63 stroke average in 38 rounds with seven top-11s, including a tie for 10th at the NCAA Regional and a tie for 11th at the NCAA Championships. He fired six rounds in the 60s, including a team-low 63 at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate. Twenty-one of his 38 rounds were at or under par.
