Men’s Golf’s Scheffler earns 2018 Division I PING All-America honors

Scottie Scheffler earned his third-career All-America honor with a Third Team selection.
AUSTIN, Texas – Longhorn Scottie Scheffler was named to the Divison I PING All-America Third Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Thursday.
The All-America honor marks the third of Scheffler's career after earning Second Team honors in 2015 and Third Team honors in 2017.
He closed his senior season with a 70.45 stroke average with 24 of his 38 rounds at or under par. He finished in the top-11 six times and fired eight rounds in the 60s.
Scheffler joins Doug Ghim on the 2018 All-America list, who was named to the First Team on May 29.
