Baseball loses Game 2 to Oklahoma

The Longhorns dropped the series with the Sooners.
AUSTIN, Texas – Oklahoma scored early and rolled to a 13-0 win over Texas Baseball in the first game of a doubleheader Friday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (26-27, 6-16 Big 12) and Sooners will play the second game of the doubleheader and the series finale at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Oklahoma got the game started with an unearned run for the second straight day. The Sooners followed up the first-inning run with a two-run homer in the second inning to go up 3-0.
The Sooners continued their offensive barrage, scoring two runs in the third and four runs in the fourth to go up 9-0. A 10th run came across on a solo homer in the fifth inning.
Oklahoma made it 13-0 with a three-run seventh inning.
Brandon Ivey pitched a career high three innings in relief to finish out his Longhorn career.
