Zane Morehouse and Charlie Hurley combined to hold the Titans to just two runs in the game.

FULLERTON, Calif. – Texas Baseball evened the series with Cal State Fullerton with a 4-2 win on Saturday at Goodwin Field.

The Longhorns (4-6) will go for the series win on Sunday at 12 p.m. CT with RHP Travis Sthele slated to make the start on the mound.

Zane Morehouse started on Saturday and pitched five innings, allowing just one run on four hits. He struck out five batters and picked up his second win of the season, improving to 2-0.

Charlie Hurley was stellar out of the bullpen, pitching the final four innings and allowing just one run on four hits to pick up his first career save.

Texas took an early 2-0 lead on back-to-back solo home runs in the top of the first inning. Dylan Campbell launched his first homer of the season before Porter Brown hit his fourth long-ball of the year.

The Titans got a run back in the bottom of the first with a pair of doubles off of Morehouse to trim the Longhorns' lead to 2-1.

The Longhorns got the run right back in the top of the second with doubles from Mitchell Daly and Eric Kennedy to make the score 3-1.

Texas tacked on an insurance run in the top of the fourth to take a 4-1 lead. Jack O'Dowd hit a leadoff triple and scored on a wild pitch.

Fullerton scratched out a run in the seventh to trim the Longhorns' lead to 4-2, using a single, a fielder's choice groundout and a wild pitch.

Hurley finished off the game with back-to-back scoreless innings in the eighth and ninth.
