AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015)
Named the 2015 Baseball Team Academic MVP for his excellent work in the classroom ... went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI double against West Virginia on March 14 … started and had a hit, two RBIs, a run scored and a walk at Stanford on March 8 … hit his first career home run March 6 at Stanford, a three-run shot in the second inning … scored a run as a pinch-runner vs. San Diego on March 1 (game two) … started the first two games of the season in center field (Feb. 13 & 14) against Rice ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2014 fall semester.
AS A JUNIOR (2014)
Earned a medical redshirt after missing the season with a knee injury ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2013 fall semester and the 2014 spring semester.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)
Played in 32 games and started 23 ... batted .181 on the season while recording 15 hits, three doubles, and five RBI ... he tied for the team lead in stolen bases with 11, and did so in only 12 attempts ... eight of his appearances on the year were either as a pinch runner or hitter ... in the weekend series against Nebraska from February 22-24 he went 4-for-11 with three runs scored, a double, two walks, and two stolen bases ... he was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2012 fall semester and the 2013 spring semester.
AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
He started in 20 of 25 games, batting .333 (20-for-60) with 14 runs, two doubles, one triple, seven RBI and a perfect 6-for-6 on the basepaths ... posted a .461 on-base percentage and .400 slugging percentage ... started twice in the Big 12 Tournament (May 23 against Missouri and May 24 against Kansas) ... posted a 10-game hitting streak from April 7 through April 24 ... recorded a hit and one RBI in back-to-back games (April 22 against Kansas and April 24 against Central Arkansas) ... went 2-for-4 on April 17 against Texas State ... recorded a hit and stolen bases in all three games of the Oklahoma State series (April 13-14) ... went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a walk on April 7 at Texas Tech ... had a 2-for-3 game with a double, two RBI and one stolen base on April 5 at Texas Tech ... scored three runs while going 2-for-4 with a triple and two stolen bases on March 30 against California ... registered his first collegiate hit on March 24 at Kansas State ... made his collegiate debut on Feb. 21 against UT Arlington, recording an RBI sacrifice fly ... during the summer, he helped the Santa Barbara Foresters win their second-straight NBC World Series title in Wichita, Kansas ... he batted .264 (23-for-87) for the Foresters with one home run, 11 RBI and 15 stolen bases.

He earned three letters for the Lake Highlands Wildcats in Dallas, Texas under Coach Jay Higgins ... had a combined batting average of .471 in his three years at Lake Highlands ... given All-District honors as a sophomore and a senior ... added to the THSCA First Team Academic All-State team as a senior ... served as a team captain for the Wildcats during his senior year ... also earned a letter playing basketball for Coach Rob Wylie ... played two summers for Coach Michael Honojosa of the DBAT Mustangs in the Lone Star Summer League ... made the Gates Field Wood Bat World Series All-Tournament team ... led the Mustangs to a Lone Star League championship.
