AS A FRESHMAN (2014)
Made seven appearances, four of them starts, going 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA ... set a career high in strikeouts with three in a start against Texas State on March 11 ... earned his first collegiate win March 4 against Valparaiso by throwing three innings and giving up no runs ... went 2 1/3 scoreless innings in his first collegiate start agianst Texas A&M Corpus Christi on February 18 ... made his first appearance against Cal on February 14 ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2014 spring semester.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered four years as a pitcher under coach Anthony Scalise … collected a 14-2 record with an ERA of 1.80 his senior season … named to the all-region first team his senior season … went 6-3 with a 2.85 ERA as a junior ... in his first varsity start as a sophomore, threw a complete game two-hitter ... served as the closer his freshman season.
