SENIOR (2016)
Managed a 6-8-1 overall mark at UT with a team-leading 49 total saves over 15 starts, 37 of those stops coming over eight Big 12 matches ... Was forced to make three saves during the 1-0 loss to No. 1 West Virginia (Oct. 23) ... Picked up her fourth career shutout by stopping six shots in the 2-0 victory over rival Texas Tech (Oct. 21) ... Registered a career single-match high seven stops during the loss at Iowa State (Oct. 14) ... Blanked Kansas State 2-0 on Oct. 7, making a single save in registering her third career shutout ... Made six saves in Texas’ 2-1 (2OT) loss to Oklahoma State (Sept. 30) ... Stopped three shots in helping preserve a 1-1 (2OT) tie at Baylor (Sept. 23) during the first Big 12 Conference action of her Burnt Orange & White career ... Came through with a huge save on a point blank shot in the 33rd minute while helping Texas knock off previously unbeaten UCSB, 2-1 (Sept. 18) ... Made two stops in posting her second consecutive shutout as the Longhorns topped North Texas, 2-0 (Sept. 16) ... Earned her first career shutout in the 2-0 victory at Miami (OH), making a single save while facing six RedHawk shots ... Played exceptionally well in making a career-high six saves over 90 minutes of action between the pipes in the hard-fought, 1-0 loss to No. 19 California (Sept. 4) ... Earned the first action, start and win of her Texas career by making one save over 90 minutes during the 3-1 victory over Detroit (Aug. 28).
AT LOUISVILLE
Brown appeared in 35 matches during her two-year career with the Cardinals, posting a 18-13-3 overall record between the pipes … As a freshman in 2013, she started in 17 matches, going 11-4-1 overall with 62 saves, a .697 save percentage and four shutouts while registering a 1.61 goals-per-match average … Included in those efforts were a career-best eight saves in a loss to UCF and consecutive shutouts over Houston and USF … During the 2013 season she earned nods as the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week and played in the NCAA Tournament … In 2014 as a sophomore, Brown managed a 1.35 GAA with 46 stops and a .648 save percentage while UL went 7-9-2 overall … She posted seven saves against Notre Dame and played 1665 total minutes between the pipes.
CLUB
With her club team, St. Louis Scott Gallagher, she participated in the 2013 Elite Clubs National League’s Player Development Program at the University of Wisconsin and the 2012 ECNL/id2 National Training Camp presented by Nike’s The Chance while earning international experience at the 2012 U.S. Women’s National Team Youth Goalkeeper Identification Camp and as part of the U-18 national team camp and player pool.
HIGH SCHOOL
Brown didn’t play sports at Jackson High School … In the classroom, she finished in the top 10% of her graduating class in 2013 and was on the honor roll all four years of her scholastic career.
PERSONAL
Born on Dec. 1, 1994 … Parents are Russell and Pamela Brown … Has a sister, Allie … Cites her parents as those who’ve most inspired her in athletics because they pushed her and drove her up to two hours, 4-5 times a week for six years so she could train with her club team, St. Louis Scott Gallagher …Cites getting called into the U.S. Under-18 National Team camps as her greatest personal athletic achievement to date … Plans to study health promotions on the Forty Acres with hopes of becoming a nurse anesthetist.
