AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2023)
Named a second team All-American and first team All-Big 12 selection…posted an 8-4 record and a 2.91 ERA in 20 total appearances and 13 starts…struck out 98 batters in 86.2 innings pitched, while holding hitters to a .231 batting average…tossed first career complete game against Miami (6/3) in the NCAA Regional, tossing 9.0 innings and allowing one run with eight strikeouts…struck out 11 batters in 5.1 innings pitched against West Virginia (5/19)…started against Kansas (5/6) and pitched seven innings with a career high 12 strikeouts, allowing just one run on four hits…came out of the bullpen to pitch 6.1 scoreless innings at TCU (4/30)…pitched 3.0 innings and allowed one run at Texas A&M (3/28) to pick up the win…started against LSU (2/28) and was outstanding, pitching 5.0 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts and just three hits allowed…made first start of the season and picked up the win against A&M-Corpus Christi (2/21) with five innings and eight strikeouts.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2022)
Pitched in 18 games out of the bullpen as a redshirt freshman…finished with a 3.18 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 17 innings pitched…held opponents to a .194 batting average against…threw an efficient inning of relief, striking out two batters with only nine pitches against SFA (4/12)...pitched one inning of relief with two strikeouts against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/22)...threw his Texas debut in relief for one inning against Rice (2/20).
