AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2019)
In her first significant action since the 2017 campaign because of injuries, Hathaway returned with a vengeance, starting all 63 games while hitting .309 with 38 runs scored, a team-best 17 doubles (third in the Big 12), three HR’s, 29 walks (tied sixth in the Big 12), eight stolen bases and 18 RBIs ... Was second on the squad with 17 multi-hit efforts, including a season-best 3-for-4 performance in a loss to No. 22 Minnesota (March 10) ... In all, 12 of her 17 doubles came over Texas’ first 24 games of the season with a high of two as part of a 2-for-4, three-RBI effort in a 7-2 win over Northwestern State (Feb. 9) ... Was 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored during the 7-5 NCAA Super Regional road victory over No. 5 Alabama (May 24) ... Batted at a .357 clip (5-for-14) during the NCAA Austin Regional (May 17-19) ... Blasted HR’s in back-to-back Tennessee Invitational match-ups against BYU and No. 6 Tennessee (March 15) ... Powered UT during the Longhorn Invitational (March 8-10) by hitting a team-leading .571 (8-for-14) with three doubles ... Made a tremendous diving catch at full extension in left field against No. 22 Minnesota (March 8) ... Delivered the key single to open the frame and later scored the walk-off run on Kaitlyn Washington’s RBI single to beat No. 18 Kentucky (Feb. 16) at the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational, 4-3.
AS A JUNIOR (2018)
Received just one at-bat in a single contest before having a season-ending arthroscopic procedure performed on her right knee (Feb. 23) ... Blasted a two-run home run on the first and only pitch she saw in 2018 (and was part of back-to-back HR’s with Taylor Ellsworth in the process) as the Longhorns topped Wisconsin (Feb. 9) at the Texas Classic, 5-1.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017)
Suffered a season-ending ACL tear early in the 3-2 loss to No. 11 Oklahoma (April 7) ... Batted .253 with 21 runs scored, 10 extra-base hits, including four triples and four HR’s, and 18 RBIs while slugging at a .506 clip over 31 games played (31 starts) ... Managed four multi-hit and four multi-RBI efforts and also reached base safely over 11 contests from the start of the season through February 26 against No. 8 Washington ... Blasted HR’s in contests at Oklahoma State (March 25) and at UTSA (March 29) ... Homered while knocking in a pair during an 8-2 triumph at Loyola Marymount (March 14) ... Was 2-for-3 and granted Texas a first-inning lead via a RBI single in a 3-2 defeat at No. 10 UCLA (March 12) ... Posted a 3-for-4 day with two RBIs during a 7-2 loss to No. 8 Washington (February 26) ... Tripled and managed a RBI in the loss to No. 21 Arizona State (February 25) ... Blasted a tone-setting, first-inning solo HR as the Longhorns upset No. 15 Tennessee (February 25) at the Mary Nutter Classic, 4-2 ... Hit an impressive .381 (8-for-21) overall during the prestigious Mary Nutter Classic (February 23-26) ... Was 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, two walks and two RBI while helping UT rally past Indiana (February 18) ... After missing the first five games due to injury, Hathaway returned to bat .400 (6-for-15) with two triples and five RBIs in the Texas Invitational (February 16-18).
AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
Finished the season by reaching in 15 consecutive games to go along with a career-long seven-game hitting streak ... Batted .309 during her rookie campaign and rated third on the team in HR’s (tied with five), slugging percentage (.488), on-base percentage (.407) and RBIs (30) ... Led the Longhorns during the NCAA Lafayette Regional with a .571 average and hit one of UT’s five solo HR’s during a 5-0 rout of #16 Texas A&M (May 20) ... Batted .667 (4-for-6) with a RBI during the commanding series sweep of Iowa State (May 6-8) ... Singled and knocked in two vital runs in the 3-1 series-opening victory over Kansas (April 30) ... Managed her first career two-double effort while going 2-for-3 with three RBIs in the 6-0 shutout of Texas Southern (April 27) ... Reached via hit or walk in all three games during the series sweep of Oklahoma State (April 22-24) ... Singled, scored twice and managed a pair of RBIs during the 8-4 victory over Texas Tech (April 10) ... Knocked in a run as part of a 1-for-4 performance in the 5-2 win over Hawai’i (March 17) at the Rainbow Wahine Classic ... Started off Texas’ winning outburst during the eighth inning against UTSA (March 8) with a one-out double and later scored the walk-off run as the Horns won 3-2 (8 inn.) ... Led the offense during the 9-5 loss at Texas State (March 2), going 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs ... Was 2-for-2 with a double and four RBIs in the 15-1 (5 inn.) rout of Abilene Christian (February 25) and knocked in a tally in the 8-1 victory over Illinois (February 27) ... Proved a huge power threat during the Houston Hilton Plaza Invitational, hitting .533 (8-for-15) with four tallies, three HR’s and nine RBIs ... Was a staggering 4-for-4 with three runs, two HR’s and seven RBIs at the plate in the 17-2 (5 inn.) rout of Toledo (February 19) and also homered in the 6-3 rematch victory over the Rockets (February 21) ... Batted .300 (3-for-10) with three runs scored, a double and a RBI during the Texas Classic on the opening weekend of her career ... Went 1-for-2 with a walk and a double and most importantly, delivered the walk-off sacrifice fly to left to complete a seventh-inning rally for a 3-2 win over North Dakota State (February 14) ... Was 1-for-1 with two walks and two runs scored in her initial game on the Forty Acres as UT topped Arkansas, 4-1.
TRAVEL BALL
Competed in summer ball for the Wichita Mustangs and head coach Mark Griggs ... Helped her team to fourth in the 2013 Triple Crown World Series and seventh in the 2013 Premier Nationals.
BEFORE TEXAS
During a remarkable scholastic softball career at Olathe Northwest High School in Olathe, Kan., Hathaway was named both a 2014 and 2015 first team National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) High School All-American as well as the 2014 and 2015 Diamond Sports/NFCA National High School Catcher of the Year ... As a senior, she was tabbed for the second time in her career as the Kansas City Star’s All-Metro Kansas Softball Player of the Year while earning her third consecutive All-Sunflower League and all-region selections and second straight Kansas Softball Coaches Association (KSCA) Class 6A First-Team All-State nod after hitting .640 overall with a state record 18 HR’s, 41 hits, 50 runs scored, 30 walks and 61 RBIs over just 25 games while slugging 1.950 ... During her All-American junior campaign in 2014, she hit at a remarkable .759 clip with 11 doubles, six HR’s, 36 RBI, a 1.316 slugging percentage and a .865 on-base mark.

She competes regionally in Crossfit competitions as a hobby, winning one of them ... Chose Texas over schools including LSU, Missouri, Kansas, Wichita State and Tulsa ...
