Played at Long Beach State from 2019-22 with 105 games played, a .291 career batting average, 12 doubles, 35 RBI and 42 runs scored…as a junior in 2022, played in 39 games with a .345 batting average, six doubles, one triple, two homers, 20 RBI and 21 runs scored…in 2021 appeared in 30 games, making 18 starts, batted .298 with five doubles and a triple…in the 2020 shortened season, started five games and played in 12 with a .250 batting average…played in 25 games and made 15 starts as a freshman in 2019.
HIGH SCHOOL
Helped the Thundering Herd to three straight CIF-Sac Joaquin Section titles 2015-17…First Team All-Delta League in 2017 and 2018…Cal Hi Sports All-Underclass Team in 2017 and First Team All-Metro in 2018…hit .363 as a senior in 2018 with 28 runs scored, 13 RBIs, four doubles, four triples and a home run in 28 games played.

Brother, Dylan Carlson, is an outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals…received academic award all four years on high school.
