AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2022)
Pitched in 21 games and made three starts…finished with a 6.03 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 34.1 innings pitched…pitched two scoreless innings with two strikeouts in the NCAA Super Regional at East Carolina (6/12)…had a great relief outing against Air Force in the NCAA Austin Regional Final (6/5), with three scoreless innings and two strikeouts…pitched 3.2 innings of relief without giving up any runs and struck out eight batters against The Citadel (3/16)...earned his first win of the season in two relief innings against Alabama (2/25)...pitched two innings as a relief allowing no runs and four strikeouts against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/22).

Four-year letterman and four-year starter as a shortstop and right-handed pitcher at Reagan High School for head coach Chans Chapman…helped lead his team to the 6A state finals in 2017 and 2018…named unanimous district Most Valuable Player in 2019…a 2019 first team Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American…No. 96 ranked player nationally by Prep Baseball Report and the No. 4 right-handed pitcher in Texas…participated in Area Code Games in Long Beach, California…also an All-District football player and first-team All-Area quarterback.
