AS A JUNIOR (2006-07)
· Helped UT[apos]s 200-yard freestyle relay to a new school record (1:16.94) in the preliminary round at the NCAA Championships when he touched the third leg in 19.41· Anchored UT[apos]s 200 freestyle relay to fifth place in 1:17:45 (split of 19.65) at the NCAA Championships· Anchored UT[apos]s 200 freestyle relay to victory in 1:18.44 at the Big 12 Championships
· Competed in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle events at the NCAA Championships, where he clocked 43.67 and 1:36.46, respectively
· Placed fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:37.32) and fifth in the 100 freestyle (43.96) at the Big 12 Championships
· Claimed the consolation heat in the 50 freestyle (20.36) at the Big 12 Championships
· Placed second in his 50 freestyle consolation heat (20.75) and third in his 100 freestyle consolation heat (44.98) at the Texas Invitational
AS A SOPHOMORE (2005-06)
· Earned All-America honors as part of the 200-yard freestyle relay team, placing third and swimming a third split time of 19.47 at the NCAA Championships
· Garnered All-America status as part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team, placing third with a third split time of 43.27 at the NCAA Championships
· Competed in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle at the NCAA Championships, finishing 33rd, 27th and 42nd, respectively, in preliminary action
· Took fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:37.31 at the Big 12 Championships
· Part of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished first place at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 1:18.41
· Part of the 200-yard medley relay team at the Big 12 Championships that finished first with a time of 1:26.95
· Third place finisher in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.18 during the dual meet with Georgia
· Took fifth place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 45.53 during the dual meet with Auburn
· Finished eleventh in the 100-yard freestyle with a consolation time of 44.33 during the Texas Invite. The time also met NCAA consideration qualifying standards
· Part of the 200-yard medley relay team that during the Texas Invite met NCAA consideration qualifying standards with a time of 1:29.07. Also, part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that met NCAA consideration qualifying standards with a time of 6:36.17
AS A FRESHMAN (2004-05)
· Took seventh place in the 50-yard freestyle in a dual with Texas A&M with a time of 21.27
· Placed sixth in the 100-yard freestyle in dual action with Stanford and USC with a time of 46.55
· Finished seventh in the 50-yard freestyle at a dual against Indiana in a time of 21.51
NATIONALLY
· Swam the leadoff leg of Longhorn Aquatics[apos] National 400 free relay with a split of 51.55 at the 2006 U.S. Summer Nationals
· Swam for Black Line Aquatics under head coach John Barnes
· Finished second in the 400-meter freestyle at U.S. Summer Nationals
· Made the Olympic Trial cuts in the 50- and 100-meter freestyle
HIGH SCHOOL
· Minnesota state record holder in the 100-yard freestyle and the 400-yard freestyle relay
· The 2003 Minnesota state Swimmer of the Year
· An All-American and all-state selection all four years of high school
