• teamed up with Ricky Berens,Dave Walters and Michael Klueh to set new NCAA, American, U.S. Open, Big 12 and school records with a winning time of 6:10.16 in the 800 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships; split 1:33.20 on the third leg
• teamed up with Dave Walters, Jimmy Feigen and Ben Van Roekel to set a new American record and place fourth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:15.90) at the NCAA Championships; split 19.08 on the third leg
• teamed up with Agustin Magruder, Taylor and Feigen to set a new American record and place fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:23.97) at the NCAA Championships; led off in 21.44
• joined Eric Friedland, Hill Taylor and Walters to place sixth in the 400 medley relay preliminary round (3:06.10) at the NCAA Championships; led off in 46.47
• placed 14th in the 100 backstroke (46.76) and 24th in the 100 freestyle (43.12) at the NCAA Championships
