• Won the shot put with a throw of 18.12m (59-5.50) at the Texas Invitational
• Placed 2nd in the discus at the Texas Invitational with a mark of 56.15m (184-3).
• Took 2nd place in the shot put at the Michael Johnson Classic with a throw of 17.83m (58-6.00) and 2nd in the discus with a mark of 54.66m (179-4).

• Finished ninth in discus at NCAA West Preliminary Rounds with throw of 190-3 to advance to NCAA Championships
• Finished in 16th place at NCAA Championships at 187-4 to earn USTFCCCA All-America Second Team
• Came in 17th in shot put at NCAA West Prelims
• Posted personal best 63-2.00 in shot put to finish third at Michael Johnson Dr Pepper Classic
• Personal best 192-3 in discus to finish third at Longhorn Invitational
Indoor:
• Finish sixth in shot put at Big 12 Championships with throw of 58-11.25 and ninth in weight throw at 53-6.25

2012-13
Outdoor:
• Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the shot put, finished 15th with a throw of 59-9.25 (17.30m)
• Earned second team All-America honors
• Earned a spot in the event finals placing 12th (59-9.5/18.22m) at the NCAA West Preliminary round
• Also threw the discus 173-5 (52.87m) at the NCAA West Regional, finishing 27th
• Picked up an All-Big 12 honor throwing the shot put 56-9.25 (17.30m), claiming sixth place at the conference meet
• Won the discus competition at the Longhorn Invitational with a toss of 186-1 (57.11m)

• Earned a pair of All-Big 12 honors and just missed a trip to the NCAA Championships
• Placed third (61-5/18.72m) in the shot put and eighth (PR of 54-11.25/16.74m) in the weight throw at the Big 12 Championships
• His weight-throw performance at the conference meet ranks 10th on the UT all-time performers list
• Recorded a personal-best throw of 61-9 (18.82m) in the shot put at the LSU NCAA Indoor Qualifier
• That mark placed him ninth on the school’s all-time performers list and was 19th on the NCAA season performers list
• Missed advancing to the national meet by less than five inches (top 16 made the field)

• Posted fourth-place finishes in both the shot put (59-4.25/18.09m) and discus (185-9/56.63m) at the Big 12 Championships to earn all-league honors in both events
• Claimed a victory in the shot put (58-6.5/17.84m) and ninth place in the discus (166-7/50.77m) at the Penn Relays
• Finished third in the discus (181-1/55.21m) and fourth in the shot put (59-3.5/18.07m) at the Longhorn Invitational
• Tossed the hammer 143-1 (43.63m) for 11th place, the discus 170-9 (52.06m) for fifth place, and the shot put 58-4.5 (17.79m) for fourth place at the Texas Invitational
