Williams played travel ball as part of the standout Corona Angels program under the guidance of head coach Kim Howard.
BEFORE TEXAS
As Texas’ lone 2020 signee out of the state of California, Williams hit .541 (20-for-37) with 16 runs scored in just 11 games as a senior in 2020 ... She also posted a strong junior season in 2019 that saw her bat at a .364 clip with a .435 on-base percentage, 17 runs scored and 11 RBIs for Murrieta Valley H.S. ... As a sophomore during a 28-game 2018 campaign, she hit .342 overall with 25 hits, 17 tallies and posted a sterling .998 fielding percentage to earn her team’s Defensive Player of the Year honor.
