Went 7-6 with a 2.19 ERA (21 appearances, 10 starts), two complete games, a solo shutout and 62 strikeouts over 76.2 innings of work ... Also managed three hits (two doubles) and two RBIs at the plate ... Tossed a one-hit shutout with five strikeouts and went 1-for-1 at the plate with a double and a RBI during the 8-0 (5 inn.) NCAA Regional rout of Texas Southern (May 20) ... Earned the win in 2.0 frames of relief while also knocking in a run as the Horns beat Texas Southern (April 19), 5-0 ... Took a tough no decision after allowing one earned run and striking out a career-high nine over a career-high 8.0 innings of work (144 pitches) in the 3-2 (9 inn.) loss at Cal State Fullerton (March 17) ... Tossed 6.2 innings while allowing just a single earned tally in the 2-1 loss at No. 6 Arizona (March 4) ... Was 1-0 with a 0.98 ERA and 13 K’s over 14.1 innings in Mary Nutter Classic appearances against Bethune Cookman (February 24), No. 21 Arizona State (February 25) and No. 8 Washington (February 26) ... AS A SOPHOMORE (2016)
Made 25 appearances from the circle and went 11-3 overall with eight complete games, three shutouts and 61 strikeouts over 98.2 innings while batting .417 with seven extra-base hits and 17 RBIs during her first season on the Forty Acres ... Was 1-for-3 at the plate and allowed three runs over 3.0 innings of work from the circle in her first NCAA Regional action at Texas as the Longhorns lost to #16 Texas A&M (May 21) ... Knocked in two runs and picked up her 11th pitching victory of the year during the 14-3 (5 inn.) win at Iowa State (May 7) ... Was a perfect 2-for-2 with a walk in the 3-1 series-opening triumph over Kansas (April 30) ... Scattered six hits, walked two and struck out seven while going 2-for-4 at the dish in the 6-0 shutout of Texas Southern (April 27) ... Named the Big 12 Conference’s Player of the Week on April 26 after leading Texas with a .571 average (4-for-7), her first career HR and a team-leading six RBIs in the series sweep of Oklahoma State (April 22-24) ... Hit a three-run HR and knocked in the game-winning tally on a clutch, two-out, sixth-inning single to top Oklahoma State in the series finale, 8-7 (April 24) ... Was 0-2 with a 7.88 ERA over 5.1 innings of work in a tough weekend for the Horns at #12/9 Oklahoma (April 15-16) ... Tossed a two-hit shutout and extended her scoreless innings streak to a then-career-high 12 straight frames with a two-hit shutout of UTEP (April 5) while going 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a RBI ... Managed a true breakout performance in the 7-0 victory over BYU (April 2), going 3-for-3 at the dish with a double, a triple and two RBIs while also tossing a two-hit, complete-game shutout ... Was 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA in 9.1 innings of work during the Rainbow Wahine Classic with victories over Iowa (March 17 - 4.2 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 2 K) and Hawai’i (started - March 19 - 4.2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 4 BB, 3 K) ... Tossed 5.2 frames of relief in earning the win over Samford during the Maverick Classic on March 12 ... Struck out five over 3.2 innings of relief (2 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 5 BB) during the 3-2 (8 inn.) victory against UTSA (March 8) ... Picked up a 3-2 win over Abilene Christian (February 26 - 7.0 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 5 K) and tossed three perfect innings of relief against Weber State (February 28) to earn her first career save during the Texas Invitational ... Was 2-0 with a 1.75 ERA, two complete games and 13 strikeouts, over 12 innings of work during the Houston Hilton Plaza Invitational, while posting victories over Ball State (February 19 - 5.0 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K) and Toledo (February 21 - 7.0 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, career-high 8 K) ... Earned her first career Texas pitching win (3.2 IP of relief, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 2 K) and made her initial UT hit count on a clutch, three-run, sixth-inning double that knocked in three runs to help UT finish crawling out of a 6-0, fourth-inning hole in a 7-6 win over North Carolina (February 13).

Played travel ball for the OC Batbusters, helping them win the U-18 Premier Platinum Championship.
BEFORE TEXAS
In her lone year as part of the University of San Diego program, von Sprecken made her presence felt from the circle, leading USD in pitching wins (21), appearances (38), starts (29), complete games (18), solo shutouts (four), strikeouts (136), batting average against (.227) and innings pitched (199.0) ... For her efforts, the Yorba Linda, Calif., product was chosen as second-team All-West Coast Conference, reaped the league’s pitcher of the week honor on four separate occasions (Feb. 9, March 16, March 23 & April 6) and was tabbed as the San Diego Hall of Champions Star of the Month for March ... Included among her impressive performances during the 2015 campaign were a complete game, 5-3 triumph at then-No. 16 Arizona State (7.0 IP, six hits, two earned runs, two K’s), a season-best 10-strikeout effort in a victory over Utah Valley and a three-hit blanking of Pacific ... She attended Yorba Linda High School where she was a four year letterwinner for Coach Sharon Farrell ... In her senior year she received the following honors/awards: First Team All-CIF, First Team All-County, First Team All-League, Second Team All-State, and Team MVP ... In her senior year she was third in Orange County in strikeouts (255 K’s in 141 innings pitched) and hit .360 with four home runs while helping her team qualify for CIF ... In her junior year she was named Empire League MVP, First Team All-State, First Team All-CIF, First Team All-County, First Team All-League, and Team MVP while going 24-4 with a 0.96 ERA, striking out 220 batters in 168 innings and helping her team to the CIF Division I semi-finals ... In her sophomore year she was Empire League MVP and Team MVP ... Was named team Rookie of the Year after her freshman season.
