AS A JUNIOR (2005-06)
· All-Big 12 Second Team
· led UT with a career-best 76.52 per round average
· tops on the squad with an overall scoring average of 237.2 per tournament
· started in all 10 outings
· low round of the year was one-under par 71 at the Lady Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 7-9)
· had a team and career-best three top 10 finishes
· finished 51st or better in nine of UT[apos]s 10 outings
· was the top placer for the Longhorns for four consecutive events [Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational (3/17-19) through the Big 12 Championship (4/17-19)]
· qualified for her first NCAA Championship with a tie for 13th at the NCAA Central Regional (5/11-13)
· carded her career-best mark at the NCAA Regionals with a score of 225 (76-76-73, +9)
· top finisher for the Longhorns at the 2006 Big 12 Championship (4/17-19), finishing eighth overall (75-73-808, +12)

· 2005 Big 12 All-Academic Second Team
· played in eight tournaments, including the last five of the season
· has a scoring average of 78.8, almost four strokes better than her freshman season
· recorded her best finish of the season, a tie for 26th place, at the Big 12 Championship with a 19-over-par 235 (80-78-77)
· carded low rounds of 74 on three different occasions: in the first round of the Mason Rudolph Championship, the final round of the Franklin Street Partners Invitational and the final round of the PING/ASU Invitational
· set her then-low tournament total of 228 at the NCAA Fall Preview in September
AS A FRESHMAN (2003-04)
· played in a total of five tournaments, including the Collegiate Match Play
· had a scoring average of 82.42
· made her collegiate debut at the Lady Northern, carding a 23-over-par 239 (86-74-79) to finish tied for 42nd in the team[apos]s victory
· went 1-2-0 at the Collegiate Matchplay, including a win over Oklahoma State[apos]s Mallory Underwood, 3 and 2
HIGH SCHOOL

Born October 18, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas ... daughter of Janet and John Best ... has three siblings, Blair, Morgan and Jasper ... her grandfather, Gene Best, played basketball at Sam Houston State ... is an elementary education major ... recipient of the 2006 UT Women[apos]s Athletics Harvey Penick Endowed Scholarship ... named to the Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Rolls.
