CLUB
A captain for the 2018-19 Solar Chelsea Girls Elite program’s Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) team, Missimo was named an ECNL Player to Watch … A longtime mainstay for the program, she helped lead her squads to a USYSA Region III Championship and to the USYSA National Championship event in Tulsa, Okla. (2015-16), on trips to the 2015 USYSA National League Disney Soccer and College Cup Showcases, to three USYSA North Texas State titles, three Lake Highlands Girls Classic League Division I championships, three Dallas Girls International Cups (2013, 2016, 2017) and to the 2014-15 USYSA West Premier League Grand Championship … She scored the match-winning goal to win both the 2016 International Cup (over the Dallas Texas ECNL team) and the 2017 Silverlakes Thanksgiving Showcase.

Missimo did not play high school soccer ... She was named to the National Honor Society for her efforts in the classroom.
PERSONAL
Born on July 12, 2000 … Parents are Derek and Susan Missimo … Has one sibling, Alexis … Her parents were both standout soccer players as her dad, Derek, was a two-time All-ACC selection at North Carolina and still leads the Tarheels in career goals (56) and points (138), while her mom, Susan, was a four-year letterwinner at TCU from 1991-94 … Chose Texas from a list of schools that included TCU, North Carolina, St. Mary’s, Kentucky and Miami (Fla.) … Missimo was the original Solar Girls pre-academy select club member for the 2000 birth year (coached by Adrian Solca and her dad, Derek) as the club has gone on to produce more than 50 collegiate soccer players since 2007.
