CLUB
On the pitch for Solar Chelsea FC, Byars helped her club squad to a pair of Girls Dallas International Cup titles (2016, 2017), to 2015 State Cup and Region III/Southern Regional Championships, to a pair of Disney Soccer Showcases (2015, 2016), an ECNL Showcase (Calif.) and in qualifying for the 2015 National Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL
A two-sport athlete in soccer and track & field at Parish Episcopal School, Byars lettered in both sports over three seasons for coaches Craig Savage (soccer) and Travis Wilson (track & field) before tearing her ACL and missing her senior campaign … On the track, she took fourth in Texas in the 100m dash at the state championship meet and picked up “Best Newcomer of the Year” and most valuable player track awards as a freshman (2014-15).

Born on June 19, 2000 … Parents are Charles and Agatha Byars …Has four siblings, Trinity, Truth, Treasure and Temple … Her cousin Robert Barnes is currently a safety for the Oklahoma football program … Chose Texas over a list of schools including North Texas, Texas Woman’s, Dallas Baptist, St. Edward’s and Chicago … Didn’t start playing soccer until the age of 12, later than most collegiate players.
