Received time in nine matches for a total of 57 minutes ... Played less than 10 minutes as a sub in matches at TCU (Sept. 30), at No. 16 West Virginia (Oct. 7) and versus Oklahoma (Oct. 12) and Kansas State (Oct. 21) ... Registered her first career shot and shot on goal over 16 minutes in the 3-0 victory over Northern Colorado (Sept. 16) ... Played two minutes as a sub during the 1-1 (2OT) tie at No. 4 North Carolina (Aug. 22), six minutes off the bench in the 5-0 rout of Stephen F. For her club squad, the NC Fusion (ECNL), Currie was the team’s leading goal scorer in 2016 (U18/19) and helped it qualify for the 2015 ECNL U16 North America Cup and the 2014 ECNL U15 Champions League ... She was also the leading goal scorer (eight) for the 2013 ECNL South Atlantic Regional Champions U14 (CASL).
HIGH SCHOOL
A two-sport standout in soccer and track & field at both Rolesville High School (freshman season) and Cardinal Gibbons, Currie ventures to Texas with a decorated resume in tow ... A 2017 Top Drawer Soccer/TeamSnap Spring State Star in North Carolina, she helped lead Cardinal Gibbons to the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 4A State Championship game and a NCHSAA East Regional title as a senior while leading the PAC-6 Conference in scoring with 26 goals and rating second in assists (12) ... Currie was named to the Raleigh News & Observer’s All-Metro Girls Soccer Team (2017) and twice to the PAC-6 All-Conference Team (2016, 2017) ... During her H.S. career she totaled 42 goals and 24 assists despite not playing her sophomore year because of transfer rules ... On the track, Currie earned a bronze medal at the 2017 NCHSAA Indoor State Championships in the 55m and is a Cardinal Gibbons record holder in the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and the Indoor 55m (7.15).

Born on Jan. 31, 1999 … Parents are Mitchell and Donna Kilpatrick Currie … Her cousin Johnny Dutch has represented the United States as a 110m and 400m hurdler at the 2009 PanAm Junior Championships, the 2008 World Junior Championships and the 2009 World Outdoor Championships, participated in the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials and was a 2010 NCAA Outdoor champ in the 400mH and eight-time track All-American at the University of South Carolina ... Cites playing in the NCHSAA 4A state title game in May 2017 as her most memorable moment in sports to date ... Was a member of the National Honor Society and participated in numerous volunteer opportunities, including Habitat for Humanity.
